I’m Wendy Moore, a ceramic artist inspired by the shapes, textures, and quiet rhythms of nature. Working from my studio in Kuranda, I create vessels and sculptural pieces that echo leaves, petals, and the gentle spirit of the rainforest I live in.
I began my clay journey at TAFE in 2001, and ever since, I’ve loved experimenting, learning and pushing my creative boundaries. I’m also a keen photographer, and I’m currently exploring ways to merge my two passions by transferring my photos onto clay, and experimenting with screenprinting techniques.
My work blends simplicity with soulful detail, inviting people to pause, connect, and feel the calm beauty of nature through clay. You can find my ceramics available for retail purchase in the Kuranda Village Centre, where they are enjoyed by locals and visitors alike.
