Classes, Workshops and Casual Gatherings

Wednesday 9am – noon and 6pm – 9pm
Thursday morning 9am – noon

The clubhouse is opened for members to practice their hand building, wheel throwing, decorating and glazing techniques and perhaps share a firing. It is also a chance to get to know other potters and share their joy in pottery making.

The six-week classes are for anybody wanting to learn the many varied skills, from creating on the potters wheel to sculpture, glaze techniques and firing of kilns, Classes are capped at seven people to create connection.

Cost is $265 this includes the first bag of clay. Glaze and firings are paid per piece.

These classes are for anybody wanting to have some fun learning how to create on the potters wheel or hand build a wild creature of the imagination.

$230 cost includes clay, glazes, and firings.

TUESDAY AFTERNOON – 3:30pm to 5:30pm
SATURDAY MORNING – 10:00am to 12 noon

Throwing off the Hump: Adult intermediate classes. (You must be able to centre and pull up a wall)

You will learn spiral kneading for larger amounts of clay and techniques for throwing repeated forms.

All basic throwing techniques will be addressed and improved. Attention will be given to creating shape and form.

4 x consecutive weeks @ $100 (preferred) Casual $30

These are small classes, 4 person max.
